Professor Jan Wadstein MD
With a career spanning over 40 years and 100+ publications, Dr. Wadstein is a respected researcher and professor in the field of medicine. He has been a Director at Bayer, among others, and worked as a Medical Officer for Boots UK. Dr. Wadstein has held many leading professorships throughout his career, as well as several honorary professorships globally. Dr. Wadstein is also known for his research within hair growth disorders and their treatment over two decades, having published several papers in leading, peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Erling Thom
With over 30 years of expertise in clinical trial management, Dr. Thom is an independent researcher with extensive experience in the areas of Cardiology, Rheumatology, Neurology, Dermatology, Nutrition and several Pharmacokinetic studies. Dr. Thom has been a Director at Ciba-Geigy, as well as a Director for many years at Parexel with over 15,000 employees operating in 50+ countries – one of the world’s largest comprehensive drug development and contract research organisations. Dr. Thom is known for his research within hair growth disorders and their treatment over two decades, having published several papers in leading, peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. David H. Kingsley
Dr. Kingsley is one of only a few in the world with a specific doctorate in hair loss research, and is globally recognised as a leading expert in the science and practice of hair loss prevention - having successfully treated several thousand patients throughout his career. As a board certified trichologist, Dr. Kingsley has been dedicated to the study of the hair and scalp for over 30 years. Dr. Kingsley is currently President of the World Trichology Society, and has written university programs for state-recognised trichology training certification in the United States, and is also the author of papers published in leading, peer-reviewed journals within the area of hair growth disorders and their treatment.
A leading relationship psychologist, self-help author and 'agony aunt', Corinne Sweet has become a well-established and well-respected journalist and broadcaster on the BBC, among others, with a wealth of knowledge, expertise, skills and experience. Having suffered hair growth disruption herself, Corinne Sweet has taken a special interest in the psychological impact of hair growth disorders and has appeared in numerous radio and TV interviews on the subject.
Dr. Omar Milhem
A qualified PhD Pharmacist with experience in research based pharmaceutical sciences, product development, project evaluation and pharmacology. This includes, among others, a position as a solid form foundation scientist at GlaxoSmithKlein. Dr. Milhem has taken a special interest on the subject of hair loss and hair growth disorders, and has held presentations on the subject in multiple countries around the world which are approved by the local Ministries of Health.
Jes Oliver Viktor
Referred to by many as “Denmark’s Crown Prince of Hair”, Jes Oliver Viktor is beloved for the royal treatment he provides for his clients. Authentic, eccentric, sometimes cunning and always stunning; men and women flock to Jes for expert handling of their locks.
Dr Anwar Al Hammadi, MD, FRCPC, FAAD
As one of the UAE's and wider GCC’s most eminent research dermatologists, Dr Al Hammadi is the current President of the Emirates Dermatology Society and Consultant & Head of Dermatology at the Rashid Hospital in Dubai. With over 30 research publications and medical book chapters published in the field of dermatology, Dr Al Hammadi is an active Associate Professor across several UAE universities. In his early medical career he completed a Fellowship and Thesis on “Psoriatic arthritis” from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, USA, obtained a Teaching Award (first time to be given to a fellow), as well as numerous awards thereafter such as Sheikh Rashid Award for Scientific Distinction, Dubai, UAE and American Academy of Dermatology Bronze Award for Volunteerism, San Antonio, USA. Following his fellowship, Dr Al Hammadi completed a resident role at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, where he still remains a reviewer for Canadian Family Physician Journal - Dermatology section, and was a contributor to “Stiefel” Dermatology Board Review 2007 edition and 2008 edition.
Dr Francisco Le Voci
With more than 15 years of clinical practice as a dermatologist at the Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo and more than 16 years as coordinator at the Hair Ambulatory from the Dermatology Service at the ABC-SP Medical School, focusing hair loss treatment (clinical and surgical), Dr Francisco Le Voci is one the major referees on hair at the Brazilian Society of Dermatology (SBD). With a Master in Dermatology from the University of São Paulo Medical School and as a specialist at the SBD, he is also an active member of the Brazilian Dermatology Surgery Society, member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and Vice-President at the Brazilian Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (2015-2016).
